The A2B Transformative Leadership Course (A2B - TLC) is a unique human transformation course with the sole purpose of optimising human competence to the highest possible level of being human in all domains or sectors and on all levels of life. It is unique in that it is based on at least seven of the most prominent human sciences and associated natural sciences. But its content is completely integrated in a unique intelligence, called Occupational Intelligence (OI).

Occupational intelligence is not one of the multitude of intelligences that have been identified, but it is an umbrella intelligence that effectively incorporates all other intelligences. Its name is derived from the fact that every single human being - from the beginning of life and throughout - is occupied with the inevitable RESPONS-ABILITY to successfully resolve the challenges in everything that they are confronted and occupied with.

Some challenges are easy to resolve and we have even become accustomed to many of them. So much so that their resolution has become automatic for us. Unfortunately, our world is becoming increasingly super complex, with challenges that are seemingly becoming increasingly unresolvable. We are, therefore, desperately in need of this unique intelligence state that will empower us to operate on the highest possible level of being human - also called an optimum human being.

The essence of the Transformative Leadership Course (TLC) is to challenge humans to continually acquire a higher OI level of competence in resolving the challenges of life through RAC (Respond-Adapt-Contribute). In that way to transform from the A levels of OI where they are still dependent on someone or something else to resolve a challenge to the highest possible level of quality, to the B levels of independence towards the highest possible level of being human. However, the final outcome of the A2B - TLC is only up to the B1 level of independent or autonomous leadership. Because from this level, the human has achieved the necessary volition (intrinsic motivation that transforms into dynamic action) to self-drive the highest B levels of OI.

Occupational Intelligence (OI) with its A levels of dependence (A0-A3) and its B levels of independence (B1-B3) with a short description of each level is presented in the table below.

Since this unique intelligence is based on the level of an observable COMPETENCE that the human is able to EXHIBIT, determining the OI level of a human indicates exactly what a human is capable of DOING (not knowing, or understanding, or thinking or saying, etc.) it represents a much more RELIABLE AND TANGIBLE ALTERNATIVE CV of a candidate than any other kind of traditional CV.

Purpose of the Course

The purpose of the course is to transform human beings from the lowest level of OI dependence where they might be to the B1 OI level of independent autonomous leadership in primarily the two most critical spheres of life which consumes most of one's active lifetime: work-life and personal-life. Human beings who cannot independently manage themselves cannot become leaders. Leaders are in complete control of and take full responsibility for their own life-long transformation. And since leaders do not aim to have followers - because their only purpose is to produce new leaders - everyone takes ownership for the transformation of others to become leaders. Leaders create opportunities, are transformers of individuals, relationships, families, communities and societies.

 

B1 leaders are whole-brainers, independent, autonomous, self-driven, self-directed, self-sufficient, problem identifiers, solution finders, planners, strategists, and takes risks to continually improve on what exists. These are actually the competences that every adult should exhibit.

These are the leaders the world is in desperate need of and why A2B Transformation has taken the responsibility to produce them.

Structure of the Course

The course consists of 4 Modules that has to be successfully completed and a final "Module 5" that consists of a summative assessment and a graduating certification. The first four modules consists of 1 day online training and 2 consecutive days of practical learning, either in a natural kind of environment or a real working environment. The presentation of the four modules is spread over a period of four months, but there are other flexible options.

Presentation of the Course

The course is presented in a unique combination of learning formats with multiple media through a unique, integrated experiential learning atmosphere that is always authentically appropriate and conducive for the nature and structure of the learning and transformation that is intended to take place. The venues and refreshments are provided/arranged by the organisation unless the A2B Transformation Eco-Farm venues (Gauteng and KZN) are utilised.
