THE HOOS

HUMAN OPTIMISATION OPERATING SYSTEM

After 25 years of seeking the most effective and truthful intervention methods to enhance human optimization and sustainable wellbeing, through action research and deep socio-economic development work with thousands of people in Southern Africa, A2B Transformation Movement has made a breakthrough and developed the fully accredited HOOS – Human Optimisation Operating System.

Neural pathway development (also called optimum responsiveness) is the core of HOOS and, irrespective of age, race, gender, culture, education, position, , setting - rural or urban, employment or financial status, its transformative impact enables every human to reach their full, unique potential

THE HOOS CONSISTS OF:

8 interlinked pillars, each integral to one another, support our holistic invention.

1. END RESULT (ER)
For every task under the sun and in every sphere of your life, we have a 7-step watertight visualization and conceptualization process for a clear, purposeful end result.
2. OCCUPATIONAL INTELLIGENCE (OI)
OI is the foundational premise of A2B, based on the applied science of the neuroplasticity of the brain – the ability of the brain to adapt and grow. Our universal diagnostic and intervention methods develop a deep consciousness of your competency level in relation to every task you occupy yourself with, develops will-power ( VOLITION) and moves you from A levels (dependent) to B levels (Independent, competent, contributory and self-driven).
3. RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION (R&S)
The 5 pillar selection process, assesses your current competence. It indicates the individualised intervention process required and, as we are all under construction, excludes no one
4. HARDWIRES™ ASSESSMENT
An in-depth, non-threatening prognostic tool for assessing the factors limiting or obstructing change that have developed, from early childhood days in our minds; often without us even being aware of this happening.
5. PERSONAL JOURNEY-MAP FOR CHANGE (PJ4C)
This individualised and digitised parallel process, re-wires those HARDWIRES you have accumulated over time and simultaneously grows your OI (Occupational Intelligence levels). An integrated, multisector M&E process eliminates the “carrot and stick” approach, provoking you to become a “mechanic” of your own mind and drive your own journey of change and transformation from A to B (dependence to independence).
6. ECOSYSTEM FOR CHANGE (E4C)
This pre-designed environment fosters and drives empowerment and change and is not an environment left to chance. It is designed to encourage the essential dynamics which combat anti-developmental behaviour and enables the development of OI (Occupational Intelligence). It is a safe, trusted, enthusing, nurturing environment, where people can fail, learn, grow and be exposed to tough real-life situations in a measured and incremental way, which stimulates development, growth and volition - that essential feeling of ‘I CAN’. A skilled human in HOOS (provocateur), ensures these continuous ‘I CAN’ moments for everyone, bringing appropriate Power partners alongside, pairing different OI levels for competency. An E4C has careful boundary management and a language all of its own, to prevent contamination and keep those disempowering ‘flies in the ointment’ (power zappers) at bay.
7. POWER PARTNERS (PP)
Power partners are those with an A2B accreditation and who are skilled in HOOS, either external – outside of the ecosystem, or internal – within the ecosystem. They partner and/or pair with another human on a different OI level, to grow and develop ( crutch) that human towards competency and independence( B Level OI).
8. VALUE EXCHANGE BANK (VEB)
Value exchange engages participants early on in their journey from A2B to discover their unique value. The value exchange barter concept, works on a non-hierarchical structure, adopting a flat structure, embracing the inherent value of each “value vendor” as a vital link in this value chain, providing access to capital and resources.

BENEFITS OF THE HOOS

► Embraces All sectors of society:

  • Corporate
  • Business
  • Entrepreneurship
  • NGO
  • Youth
  • Education
  • Early Childhood Development
  • Families

► This is NOT A CURRICULUM, but a trusted, accredited, watertight operating system to keep anxiety and fear down, grow volition (the will to respond) and sustainable Occupational Intelligence, in a non-threatening environment (ecosystem). A curriculum is a secondary plug-in, as it is only from the A3 OI levels that a person has the ability to integrate different sets of information and apply them in varying contexts. Plugging any curriculum into HOOS ensures effective crutching (support) until the human is at an independent responsiveness level and can appropriately integrate all the information received.

► MEDIUM TERM HUMAN DEVELOPMENT INTERVENTION TOOL Like the story of the Chinese Bamboo, it takes time for that root system to develop, grow and strengthen, before supporting the visible manifestation of sustainable transformation – when we reach our full potential, truly transforming ourselves and the society around us.

6 LIFE STAGES

All life stages are premised on the provision of ongoing, just-right challenges and ‘I CAN ” moments, where volition ( will power) and response-ability are developed incrementally, to move humans from dependence to independent, responsive, contributive, innovative and adaptive whole-brain reasoning humans, through very intentional parenting, education, and living processes.

01)-First-1000

FIRST
1000 DAYS:

This stage, from conception to the child’s second birthday, is one of the most significant developmental periods. The brain is developing rapidly and optimum development during this period is crucial in laying the foundation of success in all spheres of life for the child’s life span. A contaminated anxiety- inducing ecosystem, can adversely influence the architecture of the brain.
02)-Early-Childhood11

EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT: 2-6 years

Early childhood development (ECD) encompasses the holistic development - emotional, physical, spiritual, cognitive, moral and social - of children between the age of 2 – 6 years, where values, skills and behaviours are entrenched for a lifetime..

03)-Primary-School

PRIMARY SCHOOL: 7- 12 years ( pre-teen)

Broad-based development of learners, where they are able to develop their cognitive, problem solving and critical thinking, social, emotional, cultural and physical skills to their full potential, through experiential learning, paving the way for future developmental success.
04)-Secondary-School

SECONDARY SCHOOL: 13 – 18 years

This transition period from childhood to adulthood is characterised by rapid changes and maturation and requires the equipping and development of sense of self, social and cognitive skills and the tools of critical thinking, choice-making and cause and effect, to tackle life optimally.

05)-Youth

YOUTH: 18 – 35 years

Early adulthood development of a vision, personal optimisation roadmap and life skills, required to fulfill each human’s goals and unique blueprint for their life.
06)-Adult

ADULT

Adults upwards of 35 years old, involved with and applicable to all sectors of society (personal, relational, familial, corporate, business, entrepreneurial, charitable, developmental, environmental, spiritual, governmental, cultural, etc.)
